Bayer Foundation and the Million Lives Collective Announce a New Collaboration Grant for MLC Members!

With a shared objective to advance women’s economic empowerment in Sub-Saharan Africa, the Million Lives Collective is excited to announce a new Collaboration Grant in partnership with the Bayer Foundation and other partners! This award aims to accelerate collaboration between MLC Members and other impactful organisations to explore how their individual strengths might be combined to accelerate impact for women in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The initiative aims to identify and test a new, collaborative model which has the potential to increase incomes for 100,000+ women in Sub-Saharan Africa by 30%.

Sourced from among the Million Lives Collective Membership and Members’ wider networks, selected projects will receive a grant of up to USD $100,000 plus tailored coaching over a period of 12 months to pilot a collaborative model combining the strengths of each organisation. Should the pilot prove successful, additional funding for the scale-up of the model may be made available. This opportunity is available to all MLC Members, who may choose to apply alongside another MLC Member(s) and/or external partner(s).

The Collaboration Grant application window will officially open on September 18th 2023 following a Launch Event where MLC Members will have the chance to learn more about the opportunity and, crucially, network with one another to explore synergies and surface potential application ideas.
